Before 8 July 1967, (--?--) Brown married Dorothy Jarman, daughter of Thomas Jarman and Sarah Louise Churchett.1 It's possible that the first name of Dorothy Jarman's husband, Mr. Brown, is Alfred. Brian Churchett has a picture of a wedding couple that has written on the back "Dolly & Alfred" on one line and "Jarmans" underneath it. In England, "Dolly" is a very common nickname for "Dorothy", hence my guess that Mr. Brown may be Mr. Alfred Brown.
