Clive Whittaker On his wedding day, 23 August 1959      Clive Charles Whittaker III was born circa 24 January 1938.2 On 23 August 1959, Clive Charles Whittaker III married Marilyn Lucille Sprong, daughter of Dr. Aaron Alfred Sprong and Elene Ensign, at Woods Memorial Christian Church in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.1 In April 1983 Marilyn, Clive, Clive, Judith and William were mentioned by Dr. Aaron Alfred Sprong in a letter addressed to Lucille Roach. (Lucille was Aaron's cousin.)      He wrote, "Marilyn and grandchildren & Clive seem to like Koenigstein, Germany (near Frankfurt). Carol is captain of softball team and they are always going somewhere to do something. They go to Paris, Strasburg, Switzerland. Went down to Istanbul and liked Turkey. Marilyn liked Turks and Istanbul. Said most of Turks cities are located on old Roman ruins. She says Romans use to swing."3 Clive Charles Whittaker III died on 6 April 2004 at home in Los Alamos, New Mexico.4
